Marshall Single Compactor, Heavy Duty, 4″ or 6” Mold Configuration
Supports the following standards: AASHTO T245, AASHTO PTM705
Humboldt automatic, Marshall compaction machines are designed to provide a stable and rigid mechanism for producing 4″ or 6″ diameter asphalt pills used in Marshall tests.
These Marshall compaction machines are available in two configurations: one with a rotating mould and a tapered foot hammer assembly and the other with a stationary mould and a flat-foot hammer. Both models feature a heavy-duty design that withstands the constant jarring caused by the compaction process.
These compactors comply with ASTM D6926-16 and provide a speed of 55 blows per minute (a speed of 64 blows per minute can also be ordered if required).
Models available:
H-1364.5F – 4″ (100mm) Stationary-mould configuration machine, with a flat-foot hammer assembly.
H-1364R.5F – 4″ (100mm) Rotating-mould configuration machine, with a tapered foot hammer assembly.
The 4″ configuration machine includes:
- (1) Mechanical compactor,
- (1) H-1347M – ASTM-compliant pedestal,
- (1) H-1334B.4F – Automatic counter
- (1) H-1360A.30 – Hammer assembly for 4″ mould,
- (1) H-1361 – 4″ Compaction mold,
- (1) H-1341P – 4″ Package of paper discs.
H-1366.5F – 6″ (150mm) Stationary-mould configuration machine, with a flat-foot hammer assembly.
H-1366R.5F – 6″ (150mm) Rotating-mould configuration machine, with a tapered foot hammer assembly.
The 6″ configuration machine includes:
- (1) Mechanical compactor,
- (1) H-1347M – ASTM-compliant pedestal,
- (1) H-1334B.4F – Automatic counter
- (1) H-1360B.30 – Hammer assembly for 6″ mould,
- (1) H-1367 – 6″ Compaction mold,
- (1) H-1361P – 6″ Package of paper discs.
Additional mould and hammer assemblies are recommended for efficient testing operations. These assemblies allow you to heat multiple moulds and hammers to speed testing.
