HSM-2100
Guelph Permeameter Kit (2800K1)
The Guelph Permeameter is an easy-to-use instrument that can quickly and accurately measure in-situ hydraulic conductivity.
Accurate evaluation of soil hydraulic conductivity, soil sorptivity, and matrix flux potential can be made in all types of soils.
Features:
- One person can easily transport, assemble, and operate the equipment.
- Measurements can be made in 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on soil type, and require only about 2.5 litres of water.
- Measurements can be made in the range of 15 to 75cm below the soil surface.
The complete kit includes:
- (1) Permeameter,
- (1) Field tripod,
- (1) Well auger,
- (1) Well preparation and cleanup tools,
- (1) Collapsible water container,
- (1) Vacuum test hand pump,
- (1) Durable carrying case.
Accessory attachments are available to extend the permeameter’s measurement capabilities. Depth attachments increase the operating depth by 80 cm.
Refer to the instruction manual for a complete list of components and auxiliary tools.
See the instruction video Guelph Permeameter by Dr. William K. Annnable.
